Lewisburg Children’s Museum August Programs

Jellyfish Discovery

Saturday, August 1, 2020 at 10:15 and 11:15 am

Get creative under the sea! Make a jelly fish craft and learn more about these unique animals. Program recommended for children 5 and up and included with general admission or membership. To accommodate capacity restrictions, two program session times will be available: 10:15 am-10:45 am or 11:15 to 11:45 am. Program signups will be available the day of the program at the front desk on a first come, first serve basis. General admission guests and members are required to purchase Museum tickets in advance.

 

My Feelings Plate

Saturday, August 8, 2020 at 10:15 and 11:15 am

It’s hard to explain sometimes, just how we feel, especially when there are so many changes happening in the world around us. Children will create a ‘Feelings Plate’ to demonstrate how we can share these feelings through art expression. Program recommended for children 5 and up and included with general admission or membership. To accommodate capacity restrictions, two program session times will be available: 10:15 am-10:45 am or 11:15 to 11:45 am. Toddler Time

Toddler Time is an interactive program for children ages 2-5 and their caregiver. Toddler Time includes a story, sing-a-long, and/or hands-on learning activities. Program is included with general admission or membership. Program signups will be available the day of the program at the front desk on a first come, first serve basis. General admission guests and members are required to purchase Museum tickets in advance.

Think like an Engineer

Are you ready to build? Try your hand at these STEM challenges to build the highest structure,  support the most weight, and more. Get your STEM thinking cap on! Program recommended for children 2 and up and included with general admission or membership. Summer is coming to an end. Join us for Saturday Storytime as we read Camille and the Sunflowers: A Story About Vincent Van Gogh by Laurence Anholt. Then, create your own sunflower craft to take home. Program recommended for children 5 and up and included with general admission or membership. Picasso Portraits
