Who can join the study?   The study is open to anyone who:

• Is willing to make a long-term commitment to the study, which involves completing periodic follow-up surveys at home for the next 20-30 years

•Is between 30 and 65 years old

• Has never been diagnosed with cancer (not including basal or squamous cell skin cancer)

After scheduling your appointment online or by phone, you will receive a confirmation with instructions to go online and complete your first survey.

At your in-person enrollment appointment, you will be asked to sign an informed consent form, complete a brief survey, and provide a waist measurement and small blood sample. This will take approximately 20-30 minutes.

Basic Scuba Diving- The intention of the Scuba Diving Workshop is to provide information to interested individuals about Scuba Diving including but not limited to:

• The Sport of Scuba Diving: An activity for the whole family. How to get started. What to expect. What to look out for.
• Public Safety Diver: For those who wish to participate in the recovery of victims and evidence.
• Careers in Diving or careers that use Scuba: Marine Biologist, Fresh Water Biologist, Underwater Archaeology, Commercial Diving, Military, Professional Instruction and working in travel destinations.
