ABOUT DREW
I grew up in Dornsife and graduated from Line Mountain High School. My first job in radio actually came working on Sunday mornings running religious programming and news. As I'm sure you can imagine, I enjoyed that immensely! Seriously though, it was a job in radio for a 15 year old, so I thought it was pretty cool. Notice how I said "thought". Next stop was Penn State where I majored in Electrical Engineering and worked as a mobile and club DJ, as well as a bartender at fine establishments such as Players, Crowbar and the Gingerbread Man. There I co-founded Double Play Productions, with my friends Mike and Mark, which until very recently, still provided music a few nights a week at the G-Man. I also worked at a few radio stations, both part and full time, and, after graduating, had to get myself a real job as a development engineer for Preschutti & Associates. For the next few years, I was back and forth from radio to engineering, and worked at electronics companies such as Centroid. While there, I worked part time here at 94KX until I began doing mornings on September 8th, 1999. When I’m not here at the radio station, I love to travel and spend time with my kids. Some of my favorite destinations include Baltimore, Chicago and of course, New York City. My two kids Addison (18) and Chloe (9) keep me very busy and I also enjoy volunteering my time. I love working with the Greater Susquehanna Valley United Way, where I was named "Volunteer of the Year" in 2004. Email me anytime, I’d love to hear from you!
