Are you ready to think like an Engineer? This camp will offer a unique opportunity for students to be immersed in the vast variety of engineering disciplines, while learning how engineers tackle the problems that people face everyday. Different activities and demonstrations will be provided daily, with special presentations by Bucknell University professors.

Program will be offered for two different age ranges: 5-8 year olds and 9-11 year olds at two different times. Masks are required. Outdoor activities will be prioritized.

Creativity Camp

Design your own toys, gizmos and gadgets! In this workshop, explore how to bring fun ideas to life through curiosity, imagination, and creativity. Together we will invent new toys to be submitted to the Young Inventor Challenge as part of the Chicago Toy and Game Fair. Are you up to this playful challenge?! Parents are also invited to join their child on the final day for the Lewisburg Children’s Museum Toy Expo to play-test the toy prototypes. Recommended for ages 7 and up. Masks are required. ex-STREAM Saturdays

Weekly on Saturdays⋅10:30am – 12:30pm

Drop in on Saturdays between the hours of 10:30am – 12:30pm for some hands on ex-STREAM fun!  Each week we’ll explore a different STREAM theme- Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Art, or Math- where you can participate in an activity, experiment, or craft at the museum.  This program is free with general admission or membership and recommended for ages 4 and up. LCM School of Wizardry

Toddler Time

Toddler Time is an interactive program for children ages 2-5 and their caregiver. Toddler Time includes a story, sing-a-long, and/or hands-on learning activities. Program is included with general admission or membership. Sign ups will be available the day of the program at the front desk on a first come, first serve basis.

Virtual Pet Show

Sunday, July 11

Calling all creatures great and small! Join the Lewisburg Children’s Museum for a Virtual Pet Show. Highlight your little (or big) live-animal friend. Register and submit a photo of your pet sharing in one of the following categories: Cutest Pet; Biggest Pet; Smallest Pet; Most Unique Pet; Grumpiest Cat (cats only); Pet/Owner Look Alike (photo of pet AND owner required); and Best Trick (video submission only (no more than 2 minutes)). Photo submissions due July 11.

Prizes will be awarded to winners in each category and will be determined by a panel of judges from Pediatric Dentistry, the Scratching Post, and Kluge Insurance. Prepare to get prehistoric as Dino Camp combines fun, knowledge, and fossils. Make fossils, learn about those fierce beasts that once walked the earth, and even try some Dinosaur Yoga.

Babysitting Basics
