Calling all creatures great and small! Join the Lewisburg Children’s Museum (LCM) for a Virtual Pet Show. Photo submissions are due July 11 and will be featured in a Virtual Pet Show SlideShow on Saturday, July 17 when the winners will be announced.

“We can’t wait to see the fun and unique pets that everyone has,” says Lindsey Walter, LCM Education Director. “Pets provide so many physical and emotional benefits, especially for children. We hope this will give kids the opportunity to really show off their animal friends.”

To register, participants can submit a photo of their pet to be included in one of the following categories: Cutest Pet; Biggest Pet; Smallest Pet; Most Unique Pet; Grumpiest Cat (cats only); Pet/Owner Look Alike (photo of pet AND owner required); and Best Trick (video submission only (no more than 2 minutes)).

The program will be sponsored by Kluge Insurance, Pediatric Dentistry of Lewisburg, Susquehanna Trail Animal Hospital, and the Scratching Post. Representatives from these organizations will make up a panel of judges.

“We are always happy to support LCM,” adds Charlotte Kluge, President of Kluge Insurance and Virtual Pet Show guest judge. “We believe that community outreach is a vital part of any business or organization.  Not only is it great for the organization, but it’s an even better way to connect our community to the amazing resources Central PA has to offer.”

Entry Fee is $5 per participant. Prizes will be awarded to winners in each category.
