Official Rules for “Choose Your Cruise with Celebrity Cruises, Liberty Travel and 94KX/100.9 The Valley”

Beginning Monday, November 13, 2023 and running through Thursday, December 7, 2023, WQKX (94KX) and WVLY (100.9 The Valley) will conduct a listener contest entitled “Choose Your Cruise with Celebrity Cruises, Liberty Travel and 94KX/100.9 The Valley”.

1. The contest will be conducted between the hours of 6 am and 6 pm every weekday, Monday through Friday, throughout the contest period. All on-air contesting will happen during the contest period. Contesting will occur as follows: 3 keywords per day will be announced on 94KX from 6am-6pm and 7am-6pm on 100.9 The Valley. To participate, listeners need to text the keyword given during the time allotted to 49330. Listeners should include their name and hometown to be eligible to win any prize. Each correct keyword text will Each correct keyword text will count as one entry into the contest where one grand prize will be awarded. Listeners only need to text each keyword once, but may enter as much as they like.
2. Nine (9) qualifiers for each station will be selected at random each day from all correct entries for each respective station.
3. Qualifiers will be announced on the air on 94KX and 100.9 The Valley and on each station’s Facebook pages.
4. The grand prize, is a 7-night all inclusive cruise from Celebrity Cruises leaving from the Cape Liberty, New Jersey Port. Travel must be completed by November 18, 2024.
5. The grand prize winner will be selected at random from all qualifiers across both stations (94KX and 100.9 The Valley) on Friday, December 8, 2023. The winner will be announced on the 100.9 The Valley and 94KX on air and posted on their respective Facebook pages.
6. Contestants must have valid PA identification to be eligible to win and must present it to Sunbury Broadcasting Corporation upon request.
7. The contest is open to listeners 21 and older who are legal residents of Snyder, Union, Montour, Northumberland, Columbia, Lycoming, Perry, Dauphin and Juniata counties.
8. Full and part-time employees of Sunbury Broadcasting Corporation, any division of Liberty Travel, Celebrity Cruises, or any other radio company and their immediate families are not eligible to participate in this contest.
9. Sunbury Broadcasting Corporation, their representatives and assigns will not be responsible for any claims, liabilities or damages arising out of or in conjunction with any prizes won in this contest.
10. All prize winners relieve Sunbury Broadcasting Corporation, Liberty Travel, Celebrity Cruises, and any other promotional partner from such claims, liabilities and/or damages.
11. Sunbury Broadcasting Corporation is not responsible for telephone, network, electronic or computer failures of any kind, or for phone calls and/or text messages that are misdirected, incomplete, garbled, delayed by computer transmissions, lost, late, damaged or indecipherable.
12. All winners shall release to 94KX/100.9 The Valley/Sunbury Broadcasting Corporation the right to use any recording, photography, email, Facebook posts or comments, texts, X messages or other voice or data transmission associated with this contest.  This may be done for any and all promotional purposes associated with this contest. All phone calls and/or text messages to the 94KX/100.9 The Valley contest lines, including: 570-286-7130 and 570-743-4021 are recorded for use on-air at any time.
13. You may enter as many times as you like, but only one qualifier per household during the contest period on 94KX and 100.9 The Valley.
14. Grand Prize Winner and travel companion MUST have a valid passport at the time of travel and follow any heath restrictions that may be enforced at the time of travel. WQKX, WVLY, Sunbury Broadcasting Corporation, Liberty Travel and Celebrity Cruises are not responsible for any travel restrictions made by the United States or foreign governments. Note that it may take 90 days or longer to receive your Passport.
15. The winner is responsible for any associated taxes.
16. Winner must provide Sunbury Broadcasting Corporation and Liberty Travel all travelers Social Security number
17. The prize has no cash value and cannot be transferred.
18. Included: Most meals & beverages, gratuities, and restaurant fees. Not Included are:
    – Travel to and from port of Cape Liberty, NJ
    – Items of a personal nature
    – Added excursions and/or services while at sea
    – Medical services
    – And other additional, optional purchases and services. Additional details are available by request from Sunbury Broadcasting Corporation and Liberty Travel.
19. Luggage fees will be additional and the responsibility of the winner.
20. The winner is responsible for transportation and parking at the departure point.
21. The prize winner assumes all tax liabilities and may be subject to receiving a 1099-MISC for the 2023 tax year.
22. WVLY/WQKX’s live internet stream at wvly.com, wqkx.com, SBC app and Alexa skills operate on a delay from its FM broadcast. Delay times vary and can be anywhere from 15 seconds to over 5 minutes. Please take that into account when participating in this and all contests.
23. Contesting occurs only on WQKX and WVLY. There will be one grand prize awarded.
24. The total number of qualifiers will be 360. 9 per weekday on WQKX totaling 180 over the contesting period, and 9 per day totaling 180 over the contesting period on WVLY. Odds of winning the grand prize after qualifying is 1:360.
25. Sunbury Broadcasting Corporation has final authority in all disputes. Sunbury Broadcasting Corporation’s management’s decisions are final.
26. Anyone falsifying information, such as misrepresenting one’s age, identification, or other, will immediately disqualify them from winning any prize in this contest.
