Official Rules for “Share the Love, Share the Tickets on 94KX/100.9 The Valley with W&L Subaru”

Beginning Monday, May 15, 2023 and running through Thursday, May 25, 2023, WQKX (94KX) and WVLY (100.9 The Valley) will conduct a listener contest entitled “Share the Love, Share the Cash with 94KX/100.9 The Valley and W&L Subaru”.

1. Two of the Sunbury Broadcasting Corporation stations (WQKX and WVLY) will conduct the contest between the hours of 6am and 7pm every weekday, Monday through Friday, throughout the contest period. All on-air contesting will happen during the contest period.
2. Contesting will occur as follows: Weekdays starting May 15, 2023, we’ll announce the artist that will be played back-to-back sometime during the contest period at approximately 8:15 am on 94KX and 7:30 am on 100.9 The Valley. Following the airing of these back-to-back songs we will announce a keyword. Two keywords will be announced, at separate times each weekday between 6 am and 6 pm on 94KX and 100.9 The Valley. Listeners should text the keywords they hear, along with their name and hometown to 49330. Each correct daily keyword text will enter them to be one of the 6 qualifiers each weekday. Correct keywords must be sent vis SMS text message to 49330 within one hour of it being announced over the air. We are not responsible for misspelled keywords, text message errors, technical difficulties, undelivered or late-delivered messages, service outages, or other issues beyond our control. Standard text rates apply.
3. Six qualifiers will be randomly selected by computer from all correct entries on 94KX and 100.9 The Valley each weekday. Qualifiers will be announced on the air on 94KX and 100.9 The Valley and on each station’s Facebook pages.
4. The grand prize is one pair of concert tickets to one of the following shows:  Beyonce (at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia on July 12, 2023), Ed Sheeran (at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia on June 3, 2023), Madonna (at PPG Paints Arena on August 7, 2023), Billy Joel and Stevie Nicks (Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia on June 16, 2023) and John Mayer (at Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia on October 7. 2023)
5. The grand prize winner will be selected at random from all qualifiers across both stations (94KX and 100.9 The Valley) on Friday, May 26, 2023.  The winner will be announced on the air on 100.9 The Valley and 94KX and on the station’s Facebook pages.
6. Contestants must have valid PA identification to be eligible to win and must present that to Sunbury Broadcasting Corporation upon request.
7. The contest is open to listeners 18 and older who are legal residents of Snyder, Union, Montour, Northumberland, Columbia, Lycoming, Perry, Dauphin or Juniata counties.
8. Full and part-time employees of Sunbury Broadcasting Corporation, any division of W&L Subaru, W&L Mazda, W&L Nissan and W&L Collision Center, Susquehanna Valley Limousine or any other radio company and their immediate families are not eligible to participate in this contest.
9. Sunbury Broadcasting Corporation, their representatives and assigns will not be responsible for any claims, liabilities or damages arising out of or in conjunction with any prizes won in this contest.
10. All prize winners relieve Sunbury Broadcasting Corporation, W&L Subaru, Susquehanna Valley Limousine and any other promotional partner from such claims, liabilities and/or damages.
11. Sunbury Broadcasting Corporation is not responsible for telephone, network, electronic or computer failures of any kind, or for phone calls that are misdirected, incomplete, garbled, delayed by computer transmissions, lost, late, damaged or indecipherable.
12. All winners shall release to 94KX/100.9 The Valley/Sunbury Broadcasting Corporation the right to use any recording (video and/or audio), photography, email, Facebook posts or comments, texts, Twitter messages or other voice or data transmission associated with this contest.  This may be done for any and all promotional purposes associated with this contest. All phone calls to the 94KX and 100.9 The Valley contest lines, including: 570-286-7130 and 570-743-4021 are recorded for use on-air at any time.
13. You may enter as many times as you like, but only one qualifier per household during the contest period on 94KX and 100.9 The Valley.
14. Grand Prize Winner and companion MUST have a valid ID and follow any heath restrictions that may be enforced at the time of the concert. WQKX, WVLY, Sunbury Broadcasting Corporation and W&L Subaru are not responsible for delays or changes of the concert dates.
15. The winner must provide Sunbury Broadcasting Corporation and W&L Subaru the winner’s social security number upon request.
16. The prize has no cash value and cannot be transferred.
17. Included: Transportation to and from the venue will be provided Susquehanna Valley Limousine. The winner and guest will be picked up at the winner’s home address at a date and time to be determined by Sunbury Broadcasting Corporation and Susquehanna Valley Limousine.
18. The prize winner assumes all tax liabilities and may be subject to receiving a 1099-MISC for the 2023 tax year.
19. WVLY/WQKX’s live internet stream at wvly.com, wqkx.com, SBC app, Audacy App, Tune In Radio app and website and Alexa skills operate on a delay from its FM broadcast. Delay times vary and can be anywhere from 15 seconds to over 5 minutes. Please take that into account when participating in this and all contests.
20. Contesting occurs on WQKX and WVLY. There will be one grand prize awarded.
21. The total number of qualifiers will be 54. Three per weekday on WQKX totaling 27 over the contesting period, and 3 per day totaling 27 over the contesting period on WVLY. Odds of winning the grand prize after qualifying is 1:54.
22. Sunbury Broadcasting Corporation has final authority in all disputes. Sunbury Broadcasting Corporation’s management’s decisions are final.
23. Anyone falsifying information, such as misrepresenting one’s age, identification, or other, will immediately disqualify them from winning any prize in this contest.
