Official Rules for the 94KX Concert Hookup

1. Beginning Monday. May 1, 2017, and running through Friday, May 26, 2017 WQKX (94KX) will conduct a listener contest entitled “The 94KX Concert Hookup ”. 94KX will conduct the contest between the hours of 6 AM and 7 PM every weekday, Monday through Friday, throughout the contest period. All on air and online contesting will happen during the contest period.
2. Here’s how the contest works:

On Air qualifying – Listeners should listen to 94KX weekdays between 6 AM and 7 PM for the sound effect of “the 94KX ticket window opening”. When they hear it, they should try to be caller # 9 (as determined by the current 94KX on air DJ) at 800-326-94KX.  If they are indeed the correct caller, they will qualify to win the grand prize, which is a pair of tickets to a concert of their choice from a list of possible shows.

Online qualifying – Listeners should listen for 94KX to announce a time to “comment on the 94KX Facebook post (photo)” for the contest.  Only comments on that day’s post (photo) will be eligible, and multiple comments will count as one.  94KX will choose five (5) qualifiers randomly from all eligible comments to be that day’s qualifiers. Qualifiers will be notified via Facebook.  Facebook qualifiers will be eligible to win the grand prize.

Text Qualifying – Listeners should listen to 94KX daily during the contest for us to announce the key word of the day to text. When they hear it, they should text that word to us at 49330. Listeners who enter correct entries that day will receive an SMS text message from us confirming that we got their correct entry. We’ll pick a qualifier at random from all of that day’s correct texts and notify them via SMS text message to the number they used to enter. Daily text qualifiers will be eligible to win the grand prize. Listeners need to be a 94KX Text Club member to send and receive texts from 94KX. Join here!

3. The winners will be selected at random from all qualifying entries on each Monday following the contest week, LIVE on Drew & the Crew! The grand prize drawing will take place at approximately 8:30 AM.
4. Contestants must have valid PA identification to be eligible to win, and must present that to 94KX upon request.
5. Contest is open to 94KX listeners 21 and older who are legal residents of Snyder, Union, Montour, Northumberland, Columbia, Lycoming, Perry, Dauphin or Juniata counties.
6. Full and part time employees of Sunbury Broadcasting Corporation, any division of Sunbury Broadcasting Corporation, W & L Subaru, or any other radio company, and their immediate families are not eligible to participate in this contest.
7. 94KX and Sunbury Broadcasting Corporation, their representatives and assigns will not be responsible for any claims, liabilities or damages arising out of or in conjunction with any prizes won in this contest.  All prizewinners relieve Sunbury Broadcasting Corporation, W & L Subaru, and any other promotional partner from such claims, liabilities and/or damages.
8. 94KX is not responsible for telephone, network, electronic or computer failures of any kind, or for phone calls that are misdirected, incomplete, garbled, delayed by computer transmissions, lost, late, damaged or indecipherable.
9. All winners shall release to 94KX and Sunbury Broadcasting Corporation the right to use any recording, photography, email, Facebook posts or comments, texts, Twitter messages or other voice or data transmission associated with this contest.  This may be done for any and all promotional purposes associated with this contest.
10. All phone calls to the 94KX contest lines, including: 570-286-7130 and 1-800-326-94KX are recorded for use on air at any time.
11. One qualifier per household.
12. Grand Prize Winner MUST have a valid ID at the time of prize pickup.
13. Prize has no cash value and cannot be transferred or resold.
14. Concert lineups, artists and dates are subject to change without notice. 94KX will make every effort to award the tickets that the winner requested, but we reserve the right to substitute comparable prizes if the need arises.
15. 94KX’s live internet stream at www.wqkx.com operates a delay from its FM broadcast. Delay times vary, and can be anywhere from 15 seconds to over 5 minutes. Please take that into account when participating in this and all contests.
16. There will be one grand prize awarded each week.  Total number of qualifiers can vary, with the maximum amount being 35 each week.  Odds in winning a prize are 1 in 35 if all are deemed eligible.
17. 94KX has final authority in all disputes.  94KX management’s decisions are final.
18. Anyone falsifying information, such as misrepresenting one’s age, identification, or other, will immediately disqualify them from winning any prize in this contest.
