Late Shoppers Nights
Thursday December 1: SUNBURY
Friday December 2: LEWISBURG All stores open late, most until midnight. Free gift wrapping offered by ProCare Physical, 328 Market Street – next to Sweet Frog, 7:00pm Free holiday movie at the Campus Theatre, The LEGO MOVIE – sponsored by Sweet Frog.
Friday December 2: DANVILLE Stores open late, most until 11pm. Special discounts and drawings.
Tuesday December 6: SELINSGROVE Visit, dine and shop, as our businesses stay open late. Enjoy the beauty of the season with lots of holiday activities, like carriage rides and more.
Tree Lightings
Tuesday November 22: SELINSGROVE Kick-off the holidays with the sounds of children singing holiday songs and the beauty of see the lighting of our town tree. Don’t miss this truly, wonderful family event. 6:30pm
Friday December 2: DANVILLE
Saturday December 3: LEWISBURG Start your holiday season right with carols, a dramatic reading of ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas, and the lighting of the tree in Hufnagle park at 7 pm.

December 2: 7:00pm Free holiday movie at the Campus Theatre in Lewisburg: The LEGO MOVIE – sponsored by Sweet Frog.
December 3: 2:00pm Free holiday movie at the Campus Theatre in Lewisburg: MIRACLE ON 34TH STREET (1947 NR) – Sponsored by Evangelical Community Hospital. Canned good and monetary donations accepted for local food banks.
December 4: It’s A Wonderful Life. Buffalo Valley Lutheran Village is sponsoring a free presentation of the holiday film “It’s a Wonderful Life” at 1 p.m at the Campus Theatre, 413 Market St., Lewisburg. For additional information, contact Gretchen Nash of the village staff at (570) 523-4285.
December 10: Breakfast with Santa. At the White Deer Twp. Fire Hall in New Columbia 7 am to 11 am. Santa will be there from 9 am to 11 am. Menu includes eggs made to order, home fries, sausage links, bacon, pancakes, toast, coffee, and juice. Cost is $7 for adults, $4 for children ages 4-10 and free for children under 4.
December 10: Holiday Craft & Vendor Show, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. At Grace Lutheran Church, 120 Spruce St., Sunbury.
Proceeds benefit Carol’s Crusaders Relay for Life Team, raising funds and awareness for the American Cancer Society.
December 10: 5:00pm Free holiday movie at the Campus Theatre in Lewisburg: HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS (1966) & THE YEAR WITHOUT A SANTA CLAUS (1974) – Sponsored by Lewisburg Sunset Rotary. Donations of new or gently used stuffed animals and clothing accepted to help the orphans served by Father’s Hope.
December 10-January 4: Gingerbread House Competition. At The Children’s Museum, 2 West Seventh Street, Bloomsburg. Gingerbread houses will be on display and included in the Museum’s regular admission.
December 11-13: Beavertown Christmas Program will be held, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, December 11-13 at 7:30 PM. Special music by soloist Aaron McCarty. The Beavertown God’s Missionary Church is located between Middleburg and Beavertown just off Route 522 at Creek and Covered Bridge Roads (1653 Creek Road Middleburg) For more information: 570-658-2422.
December 17: 12-2pm Santa in the Theatre lobby at the Campus Theatre in Lewisburg! – Sponsored by Lewisburg Downtown Partnership. HOME ALONE (1990 – PG) – Sponsored by Coldwell Banker Penn One Real Estate. Canned good and monetary donations accepted for local food banks.
December 17: 11a-1pm Children can visit with Santa at Good Will Hose Co. 5th and Reagan Streets Sunbury. There will be music, treats and a craft table for children to make there own tree ornament.
December 17 & 18: Buffalo Valley Singers Christmas Concert, “All is Calm, All is Bright” Saturday, December 17th, 7:30 pm and Sunday, December 18th 3:00 pm. Concerts are performed at the St. John’s United Church of Christ, 1050 Buffalo Rd, Lewisburg. Tickets are sold at the door, $5 adult admission, children 12 and under free.
December 18: 1:00pm Free holiday movie at the Campus Theatre in Lewisburg: THE MAN WHO CAME TO DINNER (1942 – G) – Sponsored by Jim & Karen Marinaccio. Canned good and monetary donations accepted for local food banks.
December 19: Sunbury City Band holiday concert, 7:00pm. Our 50-piece ensemble will perform a wide variety of your favorite holiday tunes. The performance will be held on the third floor of the First Presbyterian Church. There is elevator access to that level from the front of the building.This is a FREE concert to the public.
December 23: Kid’s Christmas Party, 6:30 p.m. Games, treats, and santa! RSVP by 12/21 570-412-5127. Event will be held at St. John’s UCC Fellowship Hall, 906 Old Route 15, New Columbia, PA 17856.
December 23: Christmas Caroling at King Street Park in Northumberland at 6pm. Everyone is invited to join us for a great time of fellowship and singing. Sponsored by Amazing Grace Community Church. For more information, call 844.374.2422
