Resources for Kids during Coronavirus at Camp Mount Luther

posted: March 18, 2020

PARENTS AND KIDS! If you are feeling “cabin fever” and need some time out of the house, you are invited to come and hike or picnic at Camp Mount Luther weekdays from now until March 27 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The bathrooms on the back porch of the A-Center will be open and cleaned daily. All other buildings will be locked. Please bring your own portable filled water bottles. Park in the A-Center parking lot and sign in and out on a form posted on the back porch. That way we know who is in camp. All children must have an adult with them. Please know that we cannot provide any programming for you; but, we can give you space to walk around and enjoy God’s creation. Let us know if you have questions. Office hours will remain Tuesday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. PLEASE STILL PRACTICE SOCIAL DISTANCING – with 400 acres and miles of trails, it is possible to hike and get some fresh air without being in a crowd of people.

Also, we have developed a webpage where we will be posting some resources to help parents and kids affected by school and other closings. Hopefully this will give you something to do together as a family during this time. Set up a “camp-like” experience these next two weeks by checking out the webpage. Check back every day between now and March 27 as we plan to add new resources each day! www.campmountluther.org/coronavirus
